Implementation specialist

Location: San Antonio, TX / Milpitas, CA

OVERVIEW: Onboarding new Eltropy customers quickly and smoothly is key to ensuring a world-class customer experience and minimizing time-to-value. Similarly, integrating with core banking, marketing automation, collections, and loan origination systems provides critical strategic advantages to Eltropy and immense value to our financial-institution customers. The Implementation Manager utilizes strong project management, relationship-building, and technical problem solving skills to:

  • onboard new customers and users, and to
  • explain, implement and verify our most complex integrations

Successful Implementation Managers work closely with customers and Eltropy’s Product Operations team using a well-developed methodology and understanding of financial services systems and business processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer onboarding 

  1. Kick off, configure and supervise implementations of Eltropy at financial institutions to ensure fastest-possible time to value
  2. Customer-facing implementation project management
  3. Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple concurrent customer implementation projects
  4. Ensure clear agreements and communications with customers
  5. Create reusable project templates for implementing new features and integrations 
  6. Conduct regular meetings with a clear agenda for each customer
  7. Maintain up-to-date status on all tasks in Eltropy’s project management system 
  8. Configure new instances of Eltropy’s platform
  9. Learn the integration requirements of systems on which financial institutions run
  10. Troubleshoot integration implementation issues with assistance from the Product Operations team

Training and Demos

  • Enable customers to use and administer Eltropy applications, and to implement complex integrations themselves where possible
  • Demo integrations to customers as requiredReferenceable customers
  • Cultivate customers who will serve as positive references for Eltropy to other prospectsVoice of the customer
  • Drive customers’ product, technology and/or service needs internally within Eltropy, to ensure the user experience of customers’ employees (Users) and their members/clients (Leads) is simple, intuitive and effective.Security responsibilities
  • Adhere strictly to Eltropy’s policies and procedures related to security, confidentiality, availability and privacy
  • Attend all trainings and awareness sessions related to security
  • Report security events and incidents promptly through available channels at Eltropy
  • Adhere to approval and authorization processes while handling, accessing, sharing, storing or processing Eltropy’s confidential information or data or personal data or customer information
  • Handle sensitive information with responsibility and accountability, protect access credentials, and manage data and information

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of proven experience working as an Implementation Specialist
  • Experience in enterprise software configuration, user training and project coordination
  • Knowledge of JIRA and other project management software (TaskRay)
  • Detail-oriented, balanced business/technical background
  • Fundamental knowledge of SaaS applications, basics of DNS administration and networking concepts (VPN, SFTP)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
