VP of Marketing

Must be currently based in the Bay Area and willing to work from Eltropy’s HQ in Milpitas CA and should have experience as the head of marketing with a SaaS startup which grew from $10M ARR to $50 or $100M ARR.

  • Experience with
    • lead/demand generation, speaking at conferences, content and brand building
    • the financial services industry is a big plus
    • customer communication/engagement/CRM product is a plus.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Company Strategy
    • Actively work with the CEO and Senior staff to develop and implement an innovative Marketing Strategy
      • Identify opportunities on current and new platforms
      • How to market – Press Releases, Email Campaigns, Social Media Advertising, Event Sponsorship, etc. 
    • Identify prospective marketing partnerships to generate additional interest in the Credit Union market
  • Generating MQLs: To Acquire New Customers
    • Generate sufficient MQLs per Salesperson per week to ensure that the Sales team has a strong funnel to drive ARR growth
    • Manage paid digital marketing channels that target the Credit Union audience e.g. LinkedIn, Search Engine Marketing
    • Draft and distribute email campaigns to prospective and current customers.
    • Manage a robust Letter Campaign that targets all Credit Unions in the U.S.
  • Making Eltropy the #1 Brand for Omnichannel Communication Platform for Credit Unions and Community Banks
    • Develop the Eltropy brand voice – and guidelines – to ensure that Eltropy stands out in the “noise”
    • Proliferate the Eltropy brand and message across social media channels and platforms
    • Draft and publish press releases announcing new customers, new hires, new features, awards, etc. Identify channels for publication with the target audience
    • Grow the Eltropy website to become the #1 resource for thought leadership on Digital Communication Platform for Financial Services professionals
    • Identify relevant trade show sponsorships and webinar opportunities to generate brand and product awareness. 
  • Product Marketing: Growing Existing Customers
    • Work closely with Eltropy’s product team to market new Product features to target both existing and prospective customers. 
    • Manage communication, such as email campaigns, press releases, website updates, etc.,  with existing and prospective customers. 
  • Joint Marketing with Partners
    • Manage go-to-market strategy with Eltropy partners.
    • Draft press releases, social media posts and other marketing collateral that promotes new partnerships to existing and prospective customers.
  • Team
    • Identify, grow, and add talent to the Marketing team to continually raise the bar and enable team success.
    • Lead through organizational management and cross-enterprise collaboration. Including: Successful relationships with Eltropy Sales, Product & Customer Success teams
  • Processes & Systems
    • Establish a successful Marketing process that ensures consistent MQL generation and state-of-the-art quality on marketing collateral for customers and prospects 
    • Serve as the key point of contact for relevant trade publications and event organizers. 
    • Establish and maintain newsletter subscriber base as well as other relevant lists for email marketing in Hubspot.

  • Excellent written and oral presentation/communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels including with top Corporate Executives
  • Ability to quickly adjust according to need
  • Marketing and leadership experience a plus

Experience:

  • More than ten (10) years working in a professional setting
  • Proven track record of success leading & developing high performing teams
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry a plus
  • Working experience with workforce communication and office tools – Zoom, Skype, Hubspot, Slack, Whatsapp, MSword, Google Docs

  • Meet quarterly leads generation numbers
  • Meet quarterly plan – blogs, posts, videos
  • Keeping website continuously updated
