To best serve the community, Clearview leaders felt that expanding the ways members could interact with credit union employees was a top priority. This initiative was already in the works when the Covid-19 pandemic arrived in 2020, accentuating the need to be able to safely meet the needs of consumers anytime, anywhere.
To make sure their members had access to the most convenient and efficient financial services, the credit union launched a service called Clearview Live®. With ClearviewLive®, they used Video Teller Machines (VTMs) to connect with members outside the branch. The addition of the VTMs allowed Clearview to extend the hours of their core services through a centralized staffing model.
