Eltropy’s Golden State Tour: Empowering California Credit Unions with “Digital Conversations For CFIs”

A first of its kind, the all-new “Digital Conversations for CFIs” Tour, is kicking off this month in San Jose — March 16 from 3 to 6 pm at the Westin San Jose — and then traversing the United States.

Sponsored by Eltropy, the tour will gather executives from local credit unions to discuss several of the most pressing issues confronting our industry, such as workforce shortages, collection defaults, fraud, regulatory concerns, and the integrated digital conversations that can help overcome them.

Coming to San Jose and Pasadena

On March 16, the tour will commence in San Jose before moving on to Pasadena on March 30. Eltropy has teamed up with the California Credit Union League (CCUL) and the Nevada Credit Union League (NCUL) to create this tour, which promises to provide educational discussions and insights for all participants.

“We are thrilled to bring together more industry leaders through live events like this, which we believe are the ideal forum for discussing our industry’s challenges and discovering best practices,” said Ashish Garg, Co-founder, and CEO of Eltropy. “Credit unions of all sizes deserve the opportunity to explore solutions to manage an impending economic downturn.”

Featuring speakers from the industry

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from credit union industry luminaries such as:

Paul JockishSVP, CFO of Stanford Credit Union
Jennifer Boyle SVP, Redwood Credit Union
Susan MakrisCAO, Patelco Credit Union

They will share their experiences and insights, giving attendees a chance to learn from their successes and failures. Lending, security, collections, fraud, staffing shortages, and many other subjects will be addressed.

Built-in time for networking

There will also be a networking hour for attendees to socialize with their peers while enjoying refreshments.

“We are delighted that Eltropy has launched this tour, focusing on the unique challenges facing California credit unions today,” said Larry Palochik, Executive Vice President of the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues. “We believe that digital conversations are an essential part of the solution and can’t wait to see how credit unions can leverage the collective expertise of the group.”

“Our objective is to provide a valuable experience to credit unions of all sizes, so we encourage everyone who reads this to invite their colleagues to this event,” said Garg.
